BBMF Dakota Prints
The C-47 Douglas Dakota (ZA947) of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight plays an essential part in the training and of the multi-engine pilots on the Flight. The aircraft is a challenging introduction into the world of 'tail draggers' and gives the pilots a fantastic grounding before stepping up to fly the Lancaster. As well as training, the C-47 also displays in her own right and is a flying memorial to the many parachutists who were dropped into enemy territory on D-Day.
