Hawker Hurricane R4118

One of  the most historic fighter aircraft to have survived the war, Hawker Hurricane Mk1 R4118 flew with 605 (County of Warwick) Squadron at Drem on 17 August 1940. During the Battle of Britain she flew 49 sorties from Croydon and shot down five enemy aircraft. Today is she based at White Waltham Airfield in Berkshire where I was lucky enough to carry out some air-to-air photography with her at the beginning of May
